Guess Who Did Visit Our Wounded Troops?

h/t Matt at Blackfive for steering me to Mrs. Greyhawk’s Mudville Gazette post that is a must-read.

A top Iraqi official visited wounded American troops at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., Tuesday to thank them for their part in ending Saddam Hussein’s rule in his country.

For the full article, check it out from CNS here. I want to post just a portion here:

“We have come … to express our gratitude and appreciation for the sacrifices made by these great warriors, soldiers, in freeing the Iraqi people and in helping us in Iraq recover from tyranny and dictatorship,” Jawad Karim al-Bolani, Iraq’s minister of the interior, said through a translator to a handful of journalists in the lobby of the medical center.

“We also want to express our gratitude to the families of all these great men and women and express how important their sacrifices are for our nation,” he added.

Bolani’s visit with troops comes on the heels of Sen. Barack Obama’s (D-Ill.) recent trip to the Middle East, where the Democratic presidential candidate caused a stir when he canceled a planned visit to wounded American soldiers.

Why isn’t this in the MSM media coveri….? uh, never mind.

Haditha Marines vs. Congressman Murtha

Couldn’t have demonstrated it better. Murtha is a foul pig and deserves to be sued for all the money he’s worth (and considering all his kick-backs from lobbyists, that’s a lot). We now can see what a “cold-blooded” person really does.

A picture is worth… well, you know the drill. Thank you Michael Ramirez, my favorite political cartoonist.

‘So You Think You Can’ Market Abu Ghraib?

Are you serious? This is the 2nd year in a row that “So You Think You Can Dance” has made a serious social faux pas, but this one (even though it wasn’t in the competition exactly), is far beyond what we’ve already seen. Amazing? Nope. Stunningly stupid? Yep. Only the artsy-fartsy type can think anti-Americanism is chic.

Didn’t “stars” like Cameron Diaz learn her lessons with her Mao bag? Apparently not. And these SYTYCD folks are not even stars yet.

Un-freakin-believable.
