K9s Taking a Bite Out of Criminals (VIDEOs)

How about a bit of fun that’s not political, huh? One of my new favorite shows is Animal Planet’s “K9 Cops.” It focuses on the Minneapolis St. Paul K9 division, which has 21 dogs, and they are dedicated to keeping the St. Paul community safe (and the criminals on the run).

In these two segments, you can see that criminals may run, they may try to hide, but the police K9’s nose catches ‘em every single time.

You can’t run or hide from the dogs. Don’tcha just love it?

Gabler Still Not Letting Go of Karl Rove (VIDEO)

Even after all the latest exposure of Armitage and his complete and total responsibility of discussing Valerie Plame (not a covert CIA agent) with Robert Novak, and Novak’s recent admonisions about Armitage still not telling the complete truth, some of the left-wing liberal bedwetters still can’t let Karl Rove or any of the Bush Administration off the hook.

On Fox News Watch yesterday, one of the topics was the Armitage story, and the conversation was going fine until….. Neal Gabler was poked. Jim Pinkerton was speaking of how Armitage has ruined everyone else’s reputation, and wondered how Karl Rove was going to get his back? You might have just said “sic ‘em, Neal!”

Neal: Wait a minute, Rove was implicated. He corroborated a story. Lookit…the GOP can spin this any way they want to, but the bottom line is Rove was implicated, Libby was implicated, and they tried to smear…

Jim: Bottom line is, Neal won’t give up.

Jim’s right. And why continue to argue? You’ll still hear the same ol’ same ol’ about Rove and Libby, so Jim took the smartest path. Be quiet and let the idiots blabber.

The Continuing Education of Juan, Part 2 (VIDEO)

And now for round two… this one is about the non-affair of “Flame-Gate.” This is hysterical! Juan, again, makes an absolute fool out of himself. Elisabeth makes a good sidekick for Juan. What a pair!

Brit seems fairly pissed at Armitage, talking about how Armitage has let Rove and Libby ‘twist in the wind:’

Brit: …it CERTAINLY doesn’t excuse Armitage now! The investigation is all but complete. Armitage knows he’s not going to be indicted, although he was the original source of all this, and now it’s been out for a week that he was the one. He has a LOT to explain and he has said NOTHING. His former boss, Colin Powell, has said nothing. They have continued to allow these allegations to stand, and only somebody else’s information about them has begun to put this to rest.

Juan tries to weave a tangled web from Armitage back to the White House, unsuccessfully. Juan even calls her Valerie “Flame.” Then Brit has to reel him in. More transcript:

Brit: The prosecutor investigated that. He didn’t find that. If he had found that, presumably, it was a deliberate leak, a malicious leak of some kind, he would have been prosecuted for that. He didn’t!

Juan: I didn’t say that it was a leak. I said he commissioned a memo intended to rebut Wilson, it circulates, Armitage sees it, Armitage, in passing, references this to Novak. The point is that the White House… you can have two things happening at one time, Brit. You can have the White House going after their critics at the same time that Armitage says this in passing to Novak.

[Cross-talk]

Bill: Fighting your critics is a legal thing to do, and this was criminalized. Scooter Libby has been indicted for something that is not a crime and for something he was not responsible for.

Oh, by the way.. should it surprise you that Elisabeth of the NYT says she LOVES leaks? Give me a break.
