And here’s another clilp I found today after Rush outed the YouTube clip of an earlier Al Gore ripping George H.W. Bush for not paying attentioni to Iraq.
[flv:/SaddamOsama.flv 400 300]
According to this ABC report:
ABC News (January 14, 1999) - “Saddam Hussein has a long history of harboring terrorists. Carlos the Jackal, Abu Nidal, Abu Abbas, the most notorious terrorists of their era, all found shelter and support at one time in Baghdad. Intelligence sources say bin Laden’s long relationship with the Iraqis began as he helped Sudan’s fundamentalist government in their efforts to acquire weapons of mass destruction.”
“ABC News has learned that in December [1998], an Iraqi intelligence chief, named Farouk Hijazi, now Iraq’s ambassador to Turkey, made a secret trip to Afghanistan to meet with bin Laden. Three intelligence agencies tell ABC News they cannot be certain what was discussed, but almost certainly, they say, bin Laden has been told he would be welcome in Baghdad.”
No Iraq connection to UBL, eh?

Nope, it’s not the position you think, either. Today on Rush Limbaugh, he talked about a clip someone pointed him to on YouTube with Al Gore deriding then-President George H.W. Bush for NOT pursuing Iraq for Saddam’s ties to terrorism. GAWD, don’t you hate it when your past words come back to haunt you?

Now after a secret military tribunal at Gitmo, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed is revealed to have been squealing like a caged pig. Not only did he cop to plotting 9/11 “from A to Z,” but he also talked about plans he had for dirty bombs on the U.S. and of targets in Israel.
Say what you will, but imagine if this jackass had been brought to the U.S. prison system, given ACLU lawyers, and constitutional rights, which he didn’t deserve? This just furthers my belief that the tribunals and Gitmo are the right thing; we don’t need these animals on the mainland. Can you imagine if he could appeal and wind up on the 9th Circus Court? That should scare every freedom-loving American.
Watch the breaking report here.

Sorry but I’m just now getting around to editing these videos, but Oliver North’s “War Stories” this past Sunday was unbelievably fantastic! Ollie had a list of first-class luminaries and experts on Islam. They included:
• Imam Karim Abuzaid, Prince George’s (MD) Muslim Association
• Robert Baer, former CIA case officer and author of “Blow the House Down”
• Mark Bowden, investigative journalist and author of “Guests of the Ayatollah: The First Battle in America’s War with Militant Islam”
• Imam Faizul Khan, Islamic Society of the Washington, D.C., Area
• Bernard Lewis, Cleveland E. Dodge professor emeritus of Near Eastern Studies, Princeton University
• Uri Lubrani, former ambassador and head of Israeli Mission to Tehran, Iran
• Oliver “Buck” Revell, former FBI deputy assistant director for Operations
• Michael Rowe, California neighbor of Adam Gadahn
• James Woolsey, former CIA director
• Sgt. Armando Ybarra, USMC (Ret.), U.S. Marine wounded in the 1983 barracks attack in Beirut, Lebanon

Dr. Wafa Sultan
According to the FoxNews website:
As you will see, the jihad being waged goes far beyond terrorists taking hostages, hijacking aircraft and the horror of suicide bombers. Its leaders proclaim independence of any state or government, but employ all of the elements of contemporary warfare: propaganda; financing; logistics; communications; covert operatives; and well-trained soldiers with modern weaponry.
You will learn about the homegrown face of terror: Adam Gadahn also known as Azzam the American. Just how did a California boy raised on a goat farm become a new face in Al Qaeda’s inner circle? Why was the Iranian revolution of 1979 the turning point in today’s modern day jihad?
In an exclusive interview, Vice President Dick Cheney tells North that the War on Terror, “is a war that we can win, but it’s a war that may take 25 or 50 years. It’s a war that we absolutely have to stay at. Only the United States can provide the leadership that the world requires to deal with this threat. If the U.S. doesn’t do it there really isn’t anybody else who can.”
You will also hear from Arthur Cummings, acting FBI deputy assistant director for counterterrorism. Walid Phares and Wafa Sultan spoke to “War Stories” as critics of terror in the name of Islam. Their comments have prompted death threats against them.
Folks, if you missed this special when it aired, be sure to check it out here. There are lessons to be learned here, and the history is laid out piece by piece. I’m also going to be posting the individual segments on YouTube, as well.
For now, you can view each here with part #1, part #2, part #3, part #4, part #5 and part #6.

As promised yesterday, Chris Wallace held a “truth” panel today to dissect the statements and assertions made by Bill Clinton last Sunday.
Special guests included Daniel Benjamin, counterterrorism expert for the Clinton National Security Council; Michael Scheuer, who was in charge of the CIA Bin Laden Unit during the Clinton administration; and Lawrence Wright, author of “The Looming Tower.”
It was pointed out that Clinton did have more chances to kill Bin Laden, but just failed to pull the trigger. Well, he did pull the trigger on something, but that’s another subject matter altogether.
I will have the transcript later on, but for now, you can watch the Truth Panel here.

I’ve been missing the brilliance of Charles Krauthammer of late on the Panel, but thankfully tonight he was on. Charles’ political savvy and acumen are matched by very few, and tonight he even brought silence at the end of one of his missives. True brilliance.
Charles: As we know from the Monica days, Clinton was an angry liar. When he lies, he gets self-righteous, indignant, in-the-face; angry, exactly as he was. And what he was saying, Richard Clarke himself was, in 2002, said there was not a comprehensive plan. All he did is he left behind what the plans had been.
But he also left behind what had been unresolved in the Clinton administration: Changing Uzbekestan’s policy, Pakistan, and helping the global alliance. The three key ingredients that the Bush administration activated after 9/11, and essentially won the war in Afghanistan in 100 days… and Clarke had said that those issues, which were the key issues, were left unresolved. I would say CRIMINALLY unresolved, because of the indecision and hesitation in the Clinton administration.
I always love it when Charles is on - a voice of reason in the wilderness of insanity.

This is a day-long, rodeo round-up of a lot of the reviews of the Clinton sideshow from Sunday, complete with videos. You must be this tall to ride this ride!
These videos need no intro or transcription. They’re taken from O’Reilly, Hannity & Colmes, Fox & Friends, Special Report, and other shows, so this is just a compendium or collection of synopses by various pundits on the meltdown. Watch and enjoy. Remember, these are in no particular order. They also come from both sides of the aisle. Trust me, you won’t find this coverage anywhere else. The first segment was from Fox & Friends this morning was with Robert Pelton, author of “Licensed to Kill,” talking about how Carlos the Jackal and another CIA operative were so close they could have killed UBL and tossed him over into the Iranian Consulate. Shame shame SHAME on Clinton! Of course, they were told to “stand down” by the Administration to do just that.
Robert Young Pelton’s interview from Fox & Friends is here.
Chris calls in to Fox & Friends here.
The Panel on Special Report here.
Newt on Clinton’s performance here.
Here’s Chris Wallace’s take on the same subject here.
Michelle Malkin & Kirsten Powers on O’Reilly here.
Check out Mary Matalin on H&C here.
P.J. Crowley on Hannity & Colmes here.
Witness Ann Coulter go at it with Nina Easton here.
Gotta love this all… Unintended consequences are Clinton didn’t know that something wicked would this way come after his outrage. Don’t you just love it when an unintentional plan comes together? This is your one-stop shopping for all the day-after punditry of the Clinton fallout. Pass it along! Everybody needs a good HOOAH!
Just waiting to get Dick Morris’ on tape.
