On Friday, Laura Ingraham took on Mort Kondrake, who recently wrote that the Republican Party was basically undone by being lead around by conservative talk radio. In Mort’s piece, he specifically singled out Rush, Hannity & Laura. Mort’s got guts to stand up for what he wrote, but I, like Laura, think he’s got it wrong.
Yesterday on the Beltway Boys, Fred Barnes called Mort on the carpet for a piece he wrote about Rush, Hannity and Laura Ingraham, saying the Republican party needs to dump them and stay away from their ideas. Mort tries to make his case, but as Fred’s face tells the story, I ain’t buyin’ it either.
Today on The View, the group was discussing the Obamas, and somehow Joy finds a way to weave in what she has heard about Rush Limbaugh calling Obama & Rahm Emanuel “Chicago thugs.” WTF is wrong with that? That’s exactly what they are!
On today’s show, Rush reminded us who TRULY first called Obama a thug, and it was a Democrat. Not to mention, how many times Bush, Cheney, et. al, have been called thugs, and nobody on The View seemed to mind that! In fact, Joy went on and on about Rush buying “illegal drugs” and called him a “drug addict” repeatedly.
Catch Whoopi’s ending comment about Cheney; she said “he was just a bad shot.” LOL
