Obama’s New Stock Market Logo

h/t Boortz:

I just couldn’t resist. From Boortz’ site:

I wasn’t going to dwell on this today, but when our own personal editorial cartoonist, Joel Samuelson, came up with this gem of a logo I couldn’t resist. It seems that the stock market recorded a record inauguration day fall yesterday. So … for your entertainment .. the new Obama logo:

Too funny! Only Boortz and crew can come up with something like this. ;-)

Barack Obama Springs a Leak

Huge h/t to Neal Boortz for this one:

Barack Obama discovers a leak under his sink, so he calls Joe the Plumber to come and fix it.

Joe drives to Obama’s house, which is located in a very nice neighborhood and where it’s clear that all the residents make more than $250,000 per year. Joe arrives and takes his tools into the house. Joe is led to the room that contains the leaky pipe under a sink. Joe assesses the problem and tells Obama, who is standing near the door, that it’s an easy repair that will take less than 10 minutes.

Obama asks Joe how much it will cost.

Joe immediately says, “$9,500.”

“$9,500?” Obama asks, stunned. “But you said it’s an easy repair!”

“Yes, but what I do is charge a lot more to my clients who make more than $250,000 per year so I can fix the plumbing of everybody who makes less than that for free,” explains Joe. “It’s always been my philosophy. As a matter of fact, I lobbied government to pass this philosophy as law, and it did pass earlier this year, so now all plumbers have to do business this way. It’s known as ‘Joe’s Fair Plumbing Act of 2008.’ Surprised you haven’t heard of it, senator.”

Barack Meets Joe

In spite of that, Obama tells Joe there’s no way he’s paying that much for a small plumbing repair, so Joe leaves.

Obama spends the next hour flipping through the phone book looking for another plumber, but he finds that all other plumbing businesses listed have gone out of business. Not wanting to pay Joe’s price, Obama does nothing.

The leak under Obama’s sink goes unrepaired for the next several days. A week later the leak is so bad that Obama has had to put a bucket under the sink. The bucket fills up quickly and has to be emptied every hour, and there’s a risk that the room will flood, so Obama calls Joe and pleads with him to return.

Joe goes back to Obama’s house, looks at the leaky pipe, and says “Let’s see – this will cost you about $21,000.”

“A few days ago you told me it would cost $9,500!” Obama quickly fires back.

Joe explains the reason for the dramatic increase. “Well, because of the ‘Joe’s Fair Plumbing Act,’ a lot of rich people are learning how to fix their own plumbing, so there are fewer of you paying for all the free plumbing I’m doing for the people who make less than $250,000. As a result, the rate I have to charge my wealthy paying customers rises every day. “Not only that, but for some reason the demand for plumbing work from the group of people who get it for free has skyrocketed, and there’s a long waiting list of those who need repairs. This has put a lot of my fellow plumbers out of business, and they’re not being replaced – nobody is going into the plumbing business because they know they won’t make any money. I’m hurting now too – all thanks to greedy rich people like you who won’t pay their fair share.”

Obama tries to straighten out the plumber: “Of course you’re hurting, Joe! Don’t you get it? If all the rich people learn how to fix their own plumbing and you refuse to charge the poorer people for your services, you’ll be broke, and then what will you do?”

Joe immediately replies, “Run for president, apparently.”

This Is What You Voted For, America (VIDEO)

Wake up America. You voted in this election, which has been coined by some as the “I Want My Mommy” election, and your voices have been heard. You are obviously too dumb to spend your own money. Heck, the government doesn’t even think you should be able to KEEP the money that you earn! So, guess what? They’re going to take more of your money, and your profits, and spend it on your behalf. Believe this, America – it won’t be spent on you, either.

This video is Jim Moran, Congressman from Virginia, describing what his ideas are about redistributing your wealth.

This is what 51% of Americans voted for, and even though 47% of us did not, we all have to live with it. I personally will never forgive you for what you’ve done.

The Most Important Thing to Consider Before You Vote

If you consider nothing else before casting your vote, then you must consider what I deem as the most important issue of this election: and that is the United States Supreme Court. Whoever is elected will have an impact on this nation for years to come; not just the next 4 or eight years.

Forget about the economy, healthcare, immigration, etc. If the SCOTUS is packed with liberal justices, we are going to be in a world of hurt indefinitely. And these justices can affect the three aforementioned issues, and, depending on who the president-elect is, for the worse.

Please people. Think before you vote, but most importantly VOTE! Don’t let the MSM get you down with their poll number reporting and their “it’s all over” reportage.

And if you needed any further persuasion on this, I’m going to let my favorite talkshow host, Neal Boortz, address the “undecided “voter” on this very subject.

It is quite possible that Barack Obama will get to make one, maybe two Supreme Court appointments before he’s through in Washington. It is also possible that he will have a filibuster-proof Senate to help him ram those choices through.

I’m a lawyer, and I’ve always had this strange idea that the U.S. Supreme Court should base its decisions on the supreme law of our land, our Constitution. Many people think differently these days. A recent and rather shocking survey showed that around 80% of people who support Barack Obama believe that the Supreme Court should base its decisions not on the Constitution, but on what’s “fair.” Egad! On the other hand, the strong majority of McCain voters believe that the Supremes should look to our Constitution as the final authority.

…If Barack Obama gets those two nominations, and if the Democrat Senate rubber-stamps them, then we are going to have a Supreme Court making decisions based on their liberal definition of “fairness” with some consideration to foreign court decisions tossed in. This is perhaps Obama’s greatest opportunity to do permanent damage to our Republic; permanent and irreparable damage. It’s one thing when Barack Obama talks about wealth seizure and redistribution in terms of “fairness.” It’s quite another when that talk is legitimized by a Supreme Court decision.

So, dear undecided voters … as Og Mandino (a great American) once said: “Use wisely your power of choice.” There’s a lot hanging in the balance.

Boortz Interviews Jerry Zeifman on Hillary (AUDIO)

Last week Neal Boortz had author Jerry Zeifman on his radio show to interview him about an article recently published by author Dan Calabrese, based on Zeifman’s book “Without Honor: Crimes of Camelot and Impeachment of President Nixon.” Dan Calabrese collaborated with Zeifman on this article about Hillary’s firing by Zeifman (life-long Democrat) during the Watergate hearings. From the article:

Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation – one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman’s 17-year career.

Why?

“Because she was a liar,” Zeifman said in an interview last week.

“She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”

How could a 27-year-old House staff member do all that? She couldn’t do it by herself, but Zeifman said she was one of several individuals – including Marshall, special counsel John Doar and senior associate special counsel (and future Clinton White House Counsel) Bernard Nussbaum – who engaged in a seemingly implausible scheme to deny Richard Nixon the right to counsel during the investigation.

Why would they want to do that? Because, according to Zeifman, they feared putting Watergate break-in mastermind E. Howard Hunt on the stand to be cross-examined by counsel to the president. Hunt, Zeifman said, had the goods on nefarious activities in the Kennedy Administration that would have made Watergate look like a day at the beach – including Kennedy’s purported complicity in the attempted assassination of Fidel Castro.

It was an amazing interview, and I cannot believe (well, yes I can) that more media outlets have not picked up on this story. Unbelievable doesn’t begin to describe it. Yet believable it is.

Another small tome of Mr. Zeifman is “Hillary’s Pursuit of Power,” and it’s well worth the read. Please get your copies quick – they’re going fast, and not too many are available anymore.

You can watch/listen to the interview in three segments here, here and here.
