Today on The View, the gals were chatting about the election results last night, and Joy Behar got all up in arms about “Operation Chaos.” She’s furious about it and wonders “Why is Rush Limbaugh tampering with the democratic process?”

For both Senator Obama and Senator Clinton, it turned out that not even John Roberts was quite good enough for them. Senator Obama in particular likes to talk up his background as a lecturer on law, and also as someone who can work across the aisle to get things done. But when Judge Roberts was nominated, it seemed to bring out more the lecturer in Senator Obama than it did the guy who can get things done.

Obama’s rep, Tommy Vielor, had this to say:

Today on Fox News, Clinton supporter Stephanie Tubbs-Jones was on talking about the election with Shepard Smith. Asked about whether or not she thought NAFTA would be a negative point for Hillary, Tubbs-Jones had this to say:

Well, you now what, the camp, the Obama campaign is trying to put that noose on her neck. But the reality is that Senator Clinton does not wear, uh, NAFTA.

NAFTA is something that occurred during the presidency of her husband. She was the first lady, but she has been very clear about NAFTA.

Noel Sheppard at Newsbusters is also on this, and has a great post about it. Do you think for one second, that with the recent controversies about nooses, that if one white person had said this about a black person, the media would have given it a free pass? Not on your life! The hypocrisy is blinding.

I’ve blogged about Canadian Ezra Levant before, as have many others, about his fight with the Alberta Human Rights Commission. You see, when Ezra worked for the Canadian publication, the Western Standard, Ezra decided it was his human right to publish the Danish Mohammed cartoons. Well, that wasn’t received well by one Syed Soharwardy, and so he filed a complaint with the AHRC.

Ezra had to go before the AHRC and plead his case, in which he practically BEGGED them to find against his favor so that this case could be heard by a legitimate court, and now his story is being told around the world. Tonight he was on Glenn Beck to talk about his story, It’s a must-watch for every freedom-loving infidel in the world. You know folks, Bill Clinton was here in Atlanta today, along with others like Huckabee and Obama, to celebrate MLK day at Ebenezer Baptist Church. And as one of the King relatives spoke, he conveyed to the congregation (and those of us who were watching on TV) that in the recent past, the IRS had “reminded” them that having any politician speak there during a political race would not be a good idea on the King Center’s part. However, seeing as how Bill Clinton is only the spouse of a political candidate, it was mighty fine then that he could speak. And speak he did. Yes, he did acknowledge Mike Huckabee, but he also acknowledged the accomplishments of his entire life, political and non-political, to the entire congregation. Reading between the lines, I distinctly heard “if you elect my wife, I will help her generate new jobs just like I did.” His appearance and speech was about as a-political as Huckabee is an atheist.

So, lest we forget Hillary’s recent faux pas about MLK, my favorite political cartoonist Michael Ramirez is kind enough to remind us.

I would post video of the ceremony here, but watching it real-time live was enough torture for me for one day. Oh, yeah, I almost forgot. One of the next speakers at the event was an African-American female bishop who decided it was necessary to somehow weave in Weapons of Mass Destruction in her speech about “freedom.” A-political my ass!

You gotta be kiddin’ me, right? Well, according to the Politico, the Hildabeast is saying just that:

“You can always tell when the Republicans are getting restless, because the Vice President’s motorcade pulls into the Capitol, and Darth Vader emerges,” Clinton said just now at Town Hall in New York, referring to Cheney’s efforts shore up Republican congressional support for the Iraq war.

“I’m not invited to their meetings and I don’t know what he says or does,” she said. “But all the brave talk [about ending the war] just dissipates.”

I’m stunned - just stunned. Hey, Shrillary…you’re not invited to their “meetings?” I’d rather be associated with a ‘Darth Vader’ than the tinfoil hat-wearing moonbats, madam, since you refuse to repudiate the MoveOn.org ad about Gen. Petraeus. Just keep doing what you’re doing, Senator…you’ll soon remember your past cannot escape you in your bid for the presidency. You are not exempt from the left nor the right, and you deserve the respect of neither.

And remember most of all that your husband spoke so negatively about the “politics of personal destruction.” Is that a policy you want to welcome, or one you want to shun? So far, it’s sounding like a full-on embrace. Enjoy the relationship, as it appears to be one you’re reveling in.

Tonight on Tucker Carlson, CREW Director, Melania Sloan was on to defend her organization’s position on calling for a congressional investigation into the alleged actions of Idado Senator Larry Craig. Tucker literally flummoxes her on several points. He asks her to recall at least three votes or positions Craig has made against gay rights or gay marriage, and she can only come up with one. She says she isn’t really “familiar” with Sen. Craig’s total voting record, but… (Do you see any problem here?)

Tucker also brings up the fact that the Idaho Statesman newspaper engaging in lengthy investigations, interviewing at least 300 people, into Craig’s alleged gay sexual orientation. Sloan stutters and stammers like a diesel engine on a December morning when Tucker starts asking about why this is appearing to apply only to Conservative Republicans. He also reminds her that many liberals are against gay marriage, but she appears to not hear him at all. All in all, Sloan sounds as dumb as South Carolina’s Miss Teen contestant when answering the question about the map. Uh..uh..uh..like “such as.” Is Obama a hypocrite for being against smoking, yet he is having a hard time quitting himself? Puhleeze. The hypocrisy here is not on the right; it’s on the leftards who can’t miss an opportunity to bash Conservative Republicans.

Make no mistake: I’m not apologizing for Sen. Craig. If he’s guilty of this, then he should resign. But the liberal medial hypocrisy should be pointed out.
