Tonight on Special Report, the panel was discussing the issue of Sarah Palin’s daughter, Britol, being pregnant at 17. Now, I’ve seen Bill and Juan go after it before, but I’ve never seen Mort be so animated. And I think this is the most fervent attack by Bill Kristol I’ve ever seen.

In fact, Mort tries to dig himself out of it in the end, and Brit has to remind him “hey, you stepped in it, Mort.” Heh.

    i am surprised at Mort Kondrake's stupid attack. The USA has the highest birthrate of any industrialized nation. Is it surprising that if it has the highest birth rate for 20 year old women, 30 year old women and 40 year old women that it would also have the highest birthrate for teenage women?

    Another thing that makes the USA unique in procreation in the world is that it is the only country in the world where women have a right to abortion. Perhaps Mort ought to be talking about why there is a correlation between the USA giving women the right to abortion and the fact that teenage pregnancy is so high.

    BTW I am not one who believes that the Roe vs Wade decision has anything to do with teenage pregnancy rates however the statistical correlation is as strong as the one Mort cited. What a Buffoon!
