Real American Stories – One Nation United
Folks, if y’all haven’t checked out this site yet, you have to. I’ve been seeing the commercials for it over the past couple of days, but until today, I didn’t have any clue as to what it was all about. Today on The Live Desk with Martha McCallum and Trace Gallagher, they played a part of one of the commercials. Martha also interviewed a young lady whose family emigrated here from Cuba when she was 3 years old.
The site is to celebrate what America means to all of us, and the fact that we live in the most phenomenal country in the world. It’s about recognizing the pride and love that we all share for America, and that Freedom is at the core of what makes her great. This is the week to recognize our patriotism for this country, and to not be afraid to shout it from the mountaintops.
The site features the personal stories of people like Chris Gardner, Montgomery Gentry, LL Cool J, Kelly Preston, and many others, including ordinary everyday Americans who also tell their American Stories.
