After watching the "Shocking Obama Words Video", I am shocked. Welcome to the world of Nationalism. The more I learn about this guy The more nervous I get. He scares the hell out of me the more I see him. He will tax us to death (literally), destroy our ecomomy, weaken our military to the point of ineffectiveness, suck us dry of available energy before we can even develop alternative sources, and turn us into a socialistic society.

I agree with you; I prefer downloadable .wmv videos and try to use them when I can. Sometimes I just run across something on YouTube which I find worthy of posting and use it on the blog.

But my main reason for culling video myself was proven today. A very popular video clipping service, RedLasso, had to suspend all videos they had on their site due to a legal matter. And in the same vein (sp?), YouTube frequently disables or deletes videos. So for all those YouTube videos or RedLasso videos I have posted on my site, they are all now worth nothing. That's why I've long feared relying on YouTube. And my fears were proven today with RedLasso going Tango Uniform.

Look for more .wmv downloadable links in the future. By the way.. my job blocks YouTube, as well, so don't feel alone. ;-)

I do have one small request, though. I work at a rather secure location, and due to firewall settings, most embedded videos are not even displayed. It would be very helpful (I would know what you are talking about) if you included a link to the video's location so that I can download and view it. I am able to see the video in the post above (The post about San Fran Nan on The V(iew)omit).

I realize that this might fall under the trying to please everbody tag and not be a priority, or even something you are overly concerned about, but it would be helpful to your fans working from secure locations around the world, and very much appreciated!
