Maher on Prescription Drugs (VIDEO)
Bill Maher went off on a rant tonight, without divulging he’s a vegan or vegetarian, about prescription drugs. And yes, he even meant antibiotics. He seems to think most “normal” people are just like him, and if they were like him their healthy immune system wouldn’t need antibiotics, even if going to a foreign country. And even after it’s pointed out that Americans are living longer than ever.
Maher, you been hangin’ out with Tom Cruise lately? Somebody keep him away from Matt Lauer and Oprah’s couch.

“you are all looking at me like I am crazy” says Maher….
he is right! HE IS CRAZY. Okay, so to a point he is correct…most medications, are in fact toxic at high doses. Given in proper amounts however, they save lives, improve lives, extend lives. BILL: anything, in excessive amounts, can be toxic and injure or kill you. TOO MUCH WATER can kill you.
Again, how do people like this guy, with serious factual flaws in his understanding of medicine and pharmaceuticals, coupled with a back ground in comedy stand up, suddenly become considered insightful, even influential political commentators and analysts. Good Theater, certainly… good advice, NO WAY, JOSE.
