Berkeley PD: Neutral = Code Pink Support (VIDEO)

Can you believe this? While people try to enter the Marine Recruitment Center in Berkeley, they are physically prevented from doing so. And when they ask the police for help? ‘Well, we’re just trying to remain neutral.’ MY ASS!

Not only are they disallowing people from entering, but they’re trying to not let folks out. After much cajoling, you can hear a couple of the Pinkos yell “LET ‘EM OUT, BUT NOT IN!” What a bunch of pukes. And I’m personally embarrassed about the lack of action by the BPD. Shame on you all. You should all hide your badges in shame.

Code Pink violated a number of Californa laws including section 602.1 (Obstruting or Intimidaing Business Operators) and section 647c (Obstruting Streets and Sidewalks), the BPD officers should have known better. I bet you anything they were in on it. When the protest becomes physical, in anyway, they lose the right to call it a peacefull protest.

WHERE is the ACLU, defending the rights of the citizens to peacefully access a place of business… WHERE is the ACLU… demanding that the Berkeley Police take action against unruly demonstrators inpairing the freedom of choice of individuals to access a public government office?
WHERE THE HELL WAS THE BERKELEY POLICE LEADERSHIP? I understand the individual patrolman didnt want to escalate matters..but to NOT take action is a violation of their oath and responsbility as a law enforcement officer. IF those wacky folks were blocking access to the local KROGERS GROCERY STORE protesting against meat eaters, they would not be tolerated. How embarassing for professional police officers elsewhere, and HOPEFULLY, within the Berkeley ranks as well?

A military recruiting office was attack this morning at 3:45am, but luckly no one was hurt. This is a histortic recruiting center since all branches of the military recruite from there….
