Many thanks to MoveAmericaForward for pointing out this video. I think it deserves to be seen by many. Please check this out.

And an extra special thanks to Sen. Jim DeMint for his support to help MAF stop this insanity. Click here to sign the petition.

    Signed.

No one is being forced into the military and they know full well what they are getting into when they start. Code Pink has every right to protest, but (even through I am a supporter of State Rights) a US city shouldn’t be allowed to kick out a US Military recurting office. At least the Mayor isn’t dense:

Proof Positive. California, in certain areas, is incapable of self government, self direction, or the ability to select and elect coherent, oriented, responsible officials to city council. I support Senator DeMint, and agree that if the sage members of the Berkeley city council don’t want the USMC recruiters in their town, and reject the value of both a military career and service opportunity for those members of their community, they obviously have no need for federal dollars, federal disaster support during their next drought/flood/earthquake/riot. We can spend those wasted and unwanted dollars elsewhere. I guess it is ok to offer folks a free choice to join Greenpeace or Peace Corps, or perhaps the forest service. But to offer another FREE CHOICE OPTION to serve in the US MILITARY.. is unacceptable… never mind what organization has proudly protected their right to free (if uneducated) speech. Code Pink THIS, you bunch of bumbling city officials.
