Happy B’Day to ‘Not Ready For My Burqua’ Vicki!
A good friend of mine has a no-miss blog. Catch her at “Not Ready For My Burqa” whenever you want. Current, up-to-date humor and commentary is all you need to want. According to her 1-year anniversary post:
My Blog is One Year Old Today!
Thank you to everyone who has visited and made this such a great year. It is wonderful to know that even a small blog can play a part in the defining struggle of our day, the fight against the global jihad that threatens our freedom and our civilization. I’m not a soldier or a politician or a diplomat, so my part is not a big one. But I have had the privilege of writing in support of those who do play a leading role in defending our freedom, and praying for those who suffered at the hands of the jihadis. And so I feel this year has been well spent, and hope that this next year will be even more fruitful.
I have been blessed with some great friends this past year and I would like to thank all of them, especially Rick at the Lobster Pot, whose encouragement every step of the way has been a priceless gift; Ms. Underestimated, for her kindness and patience in helping me learn the technical details when I was first starting out; Vimto for designing my logo and for his great cartoons; and Rusty at the Jawa Report for picking me to be on his team and letting me hang out with the cool guys.
God bless you all and bring us victory in the coming year.
Go see what Vicki has to offer. She’s worth the read, I promise.
