Army Capt. Rescues Iraqi Child From Well (VIDEO)

On Fox & Friends this morning, they had a feature on you’ll not see anywhere else; a true hero soldier in Iraq. Capt. David Powell is a true American hero, and what he did is nothing short of miraculous. Capt. Powell and his fellow troops found out about a young Iraqi boy who had fallen about 25′ down into a well. What did Capt. Powell do? He and his troops began digging and digging and digging. Capt. Powell finally achieved success and got to the young boy at the bottom of the fortunately dry well.

As Powell tells it, he was literally plucked from the well by the villagers. They plan to honor him soon with a parade of sorts for his heroism. Don’t you just love stories like this? Too bad we don’t see more of them in the mainstream media. Thank you, Fox, for showcasing this real hero.

are we sure this is legit? It could all be part of a vast White House conspiracy to deliberately put a young boy in the well, and then create an elaborate rescue effort in order to deceive the American (and Iraqi) peoples about the true actions of Karl Rove and the National Security Counsel. I heard that there was a child deliberately placed inside a building at the WTC just before the secret explosive charges were set off for the detonation to coincide with the impact of the remotely controlled jets secretly prepared by the Zionists...

Come on... you gotta laugh sometimes at the conspiracy fever folks!

Great news they were able to rescue that child. And too bad it doesn't get bigger play on the major media outlets... but that would cut into Bush Bashing and Anti War reporting efforts.
