there you go again... shooting your mouth off without engaging your brain. Reagan was and actor, first. Sonny Bono was a singer, THEN a successful (californian) politician. Fred Thompson was a highly regarded and successful politician and Senator BEFORE he became an actor and commentator. Al Franken was a mediocre comedian, then a mediocre radio host, and apparently wants to now be a politician. But Franken is a far left liberal, so I would assume HE would be fine and get your full unmitigated approval?

The GOP better get someone with appeal pretty damn quick cause what they have is very weak. Too bad this guy is an actor.
