I Knew I’d Seen the Phelps Freak Before!

h/t to an astute reader of mine for this one….

Creepy! But this is exactly why Fred Phelps of the Westboro Baptist “Church” has always creeped me out - he reminds me of one of the all-time scariest evil characters I can remember: the “Reverend Kane” from the movie, Poltergeist.

Chills just remembering that song he sang… “God is innnnn His holy temmmmmPUHL!” Scary. You tell ME if this isn’t an eerie match. Freaky, huh?

Now that you mention it… it creeps me out even MORE, although I suspect that Reverand Kane was a whole lot nicer than Phelps… and that isn’t saying very much at all is it.

I don’t even know who Phelps is. I better get on Google!

  3. MsUnderestimated Says:

    Joyce:

Phelps is the leader of that “church” that pickets military funerals with signs that say God Hates Fags and Thank God for IEDs. Familiar now?

And guess who was a fan of this nutcase? NONE OTHER THAN MR. INCONVENIENT LIES HIMSELF–AL GORE!

And I thought they threw away the baby and kept the afterbirth.

WTF, PLZ EXPLAIN WHY HE HATES THE SOILDERS

hard to get inside this pathetic moron’s head, but I think it is more a case of loving the attention he gets more than actually hating our soldiers. He is a psychotic publicity whore who uses troops funerals as easy leverage to seek news attention. He is a case study in abuse of free speech, abuse of the protections for REAL religious groups, and the abuse of families of fallen troops. May he meet God in the near future to discuss his peculiar interpretations of scripture.
