Washington State Calls NASCAR Fans “Rednecks” & “Trash” (VIDEO)

Apparently NASCAR officials went to Washington State today to lobby for help to build a multi-million dollar racetrack in that state, and were almost immediately shut down – and insulted tremendously. I, for one, am EXTREMELY offended by these arrogant state reps and some of the inhabitants of the state itself. They’re nothing but a bunch of hateful, bigoted asses.

Larry Seaquist (D) House Rep

“These people are not the kind of people you would want living next door to you. They’d be the ones with the junky cars in the front yard and would try to slip around the law.”

And when one of NASCAR’s ambassadors, Richard Petty, made his appearance, another pol couldn’t help but put his two cents in.

Frank Chopp (D) State House Speaker

“You mean the guy who got picked up for DUI? He’s not a member of the House last time I checked.”

How ’bout checking your own closet, dumbass!

I live in the South and I’m not a redneck, I don’t have junk cars in my yard, and no appliances on my front porch. And no, I don’t live in a trailer either.

Have you guys heard the news? We now have indoor plumbing in the South, as well! Now if we can only get our own McDonald’s…./sarcasm.

How ignorant can those LIEberals be up there?

With that said, I say screw them and their hypocritical stance on “diversity,” and let other states who truly appreciate NASCAR and their fans, profit and benefit from actually working with them, enjoying some of the millions of dollars anually that NASCAR can bring a community and/or state.

I retired in MS 20 years ago and love the Gulf Coast. Mississippi people are kind, hard working and have strong moral values. They love their country, God, family and support our troops. I know this to be true, I retired after 28 tears in the military. I would rather be part of this culture instead of liberals who use the freedoms given to us by the constitution to bring this country down to the presently low levels.
My only concern with the south are the rednecks. This might only be a section of the south but they are here and easily identifiable. They are proud to be called rednecks because they are truly the most ignorant in our society. They constantly talk about the civil war even though the rest of America is living in the present. They do park their cars on their front lawn, usually have stickers of the confederate flag, have numerous dogs that disturb neighborhoods and are unshaved and extremely ignorant. I place them on an equal irritant level as the gnats in the Gulf Coast. In my experience however, being a NASCAR fan does not make you a redneck. Rednecks are not only found in the South however, they are all over our great country. God bless ALL of our UNITED States of America.

I'ld like to know what past time orion and phys use to keep them busy besides posting flames. Maybe Ballet or the Symphony?

The South *should* succeed? It already has. Let me show you something:

    George W. Bush: Texas.
    Bill Clinton: Arkansas.
    George Bush Sr.: Texas.
Ronnie Reagan: okay, Illinois/Cali, but smart enough that he wanted to be a Texan.
    Jimmy Carter: Georgia.
    Gerald Ford: Nebraska.
    Richard Nixon: California.
    Lyndon Johnson: Texas.

With the sole exception of Richard Nixon, every president back to Kennedy is either Southern or Midwestern, with the Southerners getting the lion's share of years. Dude, we don't need to secede. We already boss the rest of the country around.

And guess what? No Democrat currently running can carry the South, or even part of the South. Why? Because of little snide elitist jabs like the one above re: Nascar. Because we really support our troops, who are our spouses, siblings, parents, with more than hollow words and posturing. Because we believe in freedom and liberty, not in turning over our paychecks to the government to redistribute, and not in being afraid to speak our minds. Because we're sick and tired of this crap mewed and spewed from the pursed lips and crabbed fingers of the whiney jealous liberal left.

By the way: I grew up in a junky single-wide trailer on a Southern farm where at one point -- my longsuffering mother counted -- there were twenty-three non-running and two running vehicles in the yard. My papaw watched rasslin' every Saturday, and my cousin was a stock car racer. My family tree braids in spots. My cousins go clogging at the Jamboree every weekend. I've picked tobacco worms off plants and cleaned chicken crap from between my toes.

Yet I'm still smarter, more well-read, and better-educated than you and your ilk, orion and phys, and use clearer English with a vastly larger vocabulary than you ever will. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

It seems to me everyone wants respect but no one wants to give anyone else respect! phys & orion You people need to learn a little thing called Tact!! I understand you don't like Nascar or Wrestling!! That's fine, but don't disrespect people who do! Everyone has a right to voice their opinion and I do respect yours but, some opinion's are better kept to yourselves! I personnaly like NASCAR and both of my sons like Wrestling!! You don't see us making fun of your favorite sports!! LIVE AND LET LIVE!! That's the problem these day's everyone is out for everyone else's throat!! Why doesn't everyone learn from 9/11!! We are Americans and we need to stick together not fight and argue like little 3 year old's on the playground!! Come on folks let's get it together, before some 3rd world country comes in and bites us on the Rear AGAIN!! We need to start getting along now before it's too late!!
I truly hope that we do soon!!
  • Phys, you need psychiatric help. You also need to learn about grammar and spelling. Go back down to your basement so your mom doesn't catch you on the adults' computer.
  • nascar is for trash. but if i grew up in a trailer park, i guess i would be backing it as hard as you guys... and that wrestlin you guys like to watch is fake
  • Cicero
"I hope Neil Young will remember - a southern man don't need him around"

I have a dream - President Jefferson Davis.
  • Orion has no knowledge of Nascar charity events or he/she would not be so sarcastic. Well, maybe he/she does and that's just par for the course.

I wouldn't worry about Washington State or their politicians. We have new tracks coming in down south and having to drag our ass to a sorry support group like Washington would be a pain. Let 'em worry about the surge and get all twisted. If I were Nascar, I wouldn't drop another penny of marketing up there.
  • orion
Sorry, my spell check didn't catch my mistake. NASCAR fans are the scariest of rednecks in this country.

Adult discussions? You mean the childish name calling? Right.
  • Orion:

You wish the south to succeed at what? Do you mean "secede" perhaps? Please learn proper grammar and spelling before you post again. Your ignorance is showing, and you're embarassing yourself.

By the way, if you watched the video, you'd also recall that NASCAR has the most Fortune 500 company sponsors of ANY league of sport. You think this successfull corporations don't know what they're doing? They know where the money is, and NASCAR fans spend a lot of it.

Grow up already; you obviously won't listen to what Max is trying to teach you. So go away and leave the grown ups alone to have adult discussions.
  • orion
It's so funny to watch you winguts feign outrage by a story blown way out of proportion by Faux News.

On second thought-let the south succeed.
