Tonight, C-Span2’s book channel featured a recent book-signing in Marietta, GA with Neal Boortz for his latest hit “Somebody’s Gotta Say It.” Neal also lets us know about updates on his previous success, “The Fair Tax” book and plan, and its hopes for the future. All in all it was a very successful book signing, but Neal made it quite entertaining. And the news about the Fair Tax is promising, so we should all keep our fingers crossed that we can keep this momentum going.
Well, I haven’t watched Fox News Watch in many Saturdays, but today it just happened to be on. The subject of the Nevada Democrats backing out of the debate which was co-sponsored by Fox News came up. And, as usual, Gabler didn’t disappoint. He said the Democrats deciding not to participate in a debate co-sponsored by Fox News was just like a conservative deciding to not go on Air America.
What am I missing here? Fox is like Air America? Are you kidding us, Neil? Air America is an abject failure, while Fox News regularly gets all the ratings for cable news. Go ahead, Neil, turn in your keys to the building, and give your last paycheck back to NewsCorp. We won’t miss you, I promise.
For once I agree with Jane; this call makes the Dems look very weak. Can’t face Brit Hume? How in the hell will they deal with Ahmadinejad? Oh, yeah… I forgot; he’s their buddy.
On Saturday’s Big Story with Julie Banderas, Fox News reporter Griff Jenkins talks about his day with the protests, counter-protests, and the entire day in D.C. Griff said that despite their bragadocious numbers ahead of time, only maybe a thousand or so showed up for A.N.S.W.E.R., and that it matched the number of the Gathering of Eagles as well as the D.C. police. Pretty even all around.

Griff did speak to Cindy Sheehan, which actually surprised me that she spoke to him at all, but he did say that the only truly untoward thing that happened today was the someone spit on one of the Fox News microphones. Really, does this surprise us, considering in the past, they’ve thrown rocks through windshields of Fox News trucks?
