Scarborough on Libby’s Trial (VIDEO)

Today on Tucker Carlson, he had on Joe Scarborough. Scarborough about half-way makes up for his embarassing stint on Real Time last week, but not all the way. He clearly admits he does not like the Bush Administration and doesn’t support them, but said this trial and the outcome was a travesty. In fact, ol’ Joe got VERY heated about this case as he discusses it with Tucker.

My favorite line is when Scarborough said that Joe Wilson is the biggest liar he’s ever met. I am in agreement with that assessment, as well as his opinion that Bush needs to pardon Scooter. Of interest to note, Tucker’s show was on the heels of a full hour episode of Hardboiled with Chris Matthews practically drooling and acting like a giddy school girl over Libby’s conviction. I swear, by some of the grimaces on Chris’ face at time, I thought he was… um….well, “enjoying” himself underneath his desk. And it also reminded me why I can’t stand to watch that show anymore, not even for the video.

And yes, folks, it was a full hour of that - wasn’t something else happening today? Yes, there was, in fact all one had to do was turn to Fox to actually hear about things in this world besides Scooter Libby.
