Ann Coulter at CPAC (VIDEO)

Ann was nothing less than brilliant at this year’s CPAC event. Her speech was not too long, but long enough to break into two parts for viewing. No transcript is available yet, but you don’t need one if you’re a fan. Just watch the two clips below and see for yourself. If you’re not offended by anything she says, then she’s not doing her job.

I love me some Ann Coulter!

Watch Ann here and here.

Coulter’s speech was ‘nothing less than brilliant?’ My you are easily impresses with hate mongering.

Even Michelle Malkin has denounced this idiot’s comments and any Republican worth anything should as well. This is beyond low. Is this what the campaign process has been reduced to?

You can see the look of ‘whoops’ on her face when she realizes the audience wasn’t terribly receptive. God she looks awful. Nice Adam’s Apple!

Why stoop to new lows of cheapness? Why celebrate it? Is that all you wingnuts have?

  2. Tim Andrews Says:

Anthrax Coultergeist should be dropped off the top of the Empire State Building. But then, who’d want to clean up all that sh*t?

  3. Passionate America Says:

Horward Dean Expects Me To Denouce Ann Coulter For Saying Faggot (video)…

I am outraged at the hateful bigoted remarks by Howard Dean. It is obvious he hates women, Republicans, and free speech. Howard YAAAEEEHHHHH Dean issued a press release filed with queer arguments.
    ……

  4. Sideshow Bob Says:

Anyone who applauded that comment she made is totally gay.

(You can file that under “Queer Arguments”, Passionate America)

  5. orion Says:

Passionate America; give me the Dean comments you speak of. There are none, liar. He ‘hates women?’ Gimme a break.

  6. MirCat Says:

MU you’re awesome for posting the vids. This lays a lot of arguments to rest.

Always always watch, get all the facts, hear everything that was said before jumping. It’s the anti-kneejerk thing to do.

    - The Cat

  7. ScottyDog Says:

I cannot believe the knee jerk reaction from republicans like the HotAir staff and Michelle Malkin.

What is worse is that the 3 RHINO Rockefellar republicans candidates rushed to the MSM to announce their “outrage”.

When Ann says you will be put in rehab for uttering the word FAGGOT, the reaction from both the left and some on the right proves her point.

Do you people even realize that this is censorship by the thought police. They are advancing their homosexual agenda by banning certain words as hate speech.By doing so they stop the debate.

I for one am not buying the propaganda. Ann Coulter is right and I am disgusted by my fellow Republicans that advance their efforts feigning “outrage”.

  8. Kevin Says:

Congratulations for being the only Web site I can find that took Ann Coulter’s speech in the satirical spirit in which it was intended. In the article I link to below, purportedly by Michelle Malkin, the writer denounces British singer Charlotte Church as “the new face of skankdom” and “pure cr*p”. The link is here:
    http://www.townhall.com/Columnists/MichelleMalkin/2006/09/27/where_have_all_the_good_girls_gone
I have paid no attention to Miss Church so I do not know if she merits such severe criticism. On the other hand, I think there is little distinction to be made between calling someone a “faggot” and calling them “pure cr*p”. If anything, I think the latter is marginally worse, since the former is an implicit call to a man to act more manly, whereas the latter reads like a dismissal of the person’s entire humanity.

Does anyone have a list of recommended conservative Web sites? I have just had to delete a number of bookmarked sites because of their lynching of Miss Coulter.

  9. DaveH Says:

I don’t care what Ann Coulter said.
It is time for people to stop worrying what the Libs will respond with. THEY are the ones usually doing the insulting, while Conservatives sit numbly on their asses and claim to be “Taking the high road”.

I’d walk into Hell with Ann Coulter

  10. MsUnderestimated Says:

First of all, MirCat, ScottyDog, Kevin and DaveH, I want to say BLESS you for feeling like me. Ann has not only the right to say whatever she wants to say, but she is PAID for her commentary!

Guys you have revived my faith in the real right that doesn’t waiver. I’ve been thrown under the bus myself on another “big” site because of my stance, and it looks like I have good company here in you guys.

Hey, Kevin, if you want a list of who to NOT read, here’s an illustrative post about an “Open Letter to CPAC About Ann Coulter,” basically asking the CONSERVATIVE/REPUBLICAN signatories to sign on to condemning Ann’s comment!!! OUT-FREAKIN-RAGEOUS!

    http://faustasblog.com/2007/03/open-letter-to-cpac-sponsors-and.html

    The hypocritical self-righteousness is deafening.

Oh, and Orion, in case I haven’t told you yet, I think you’re a faggot, too. HA! See if I care how you feel about it either.

  11. Gull Says:

I’ve watched the videos several times (thanks, btw) ——- I can understand why dims are upset by Ann (again and again), but I’m having trouble comprehending the conservative reaction. There HAS to be something else at play ….. Regretfully — I think I know what it is ….

Tonight I posted what I hope to be my last (2) comments on this scuttlebutt:

“I’ve watch Coulter’s 28+ minute speech and Q-A session several times. IMO, it’s vintage Coulter. While the f-word (in any context) has never been on my fav list, I thought her reference to rehab as a liberal reaction to everything NOT politically correct as funny! In all honesty, I was more “shocked” hearing MM (whom I respect highly) refer to McCain as John “screw you” McCain in her interview with Sean Hannity. And I’m not even a McCain fan ….”

Time to move on — and I’m NOT referring to that .org group.

  12. Linda Says:

I find it amazing that so many people who are too ignorant to understand Ms. Coulter’s brand of humor/satire refuse to have it explained to them. She is absolutely brilliant, managing to rattle cages and inspire “rage” from those arrogant “progressives” as she strikes them close to home. I absolutely LOVE her. I love to see the liberals turn beet red and start to stutter with spittle streaming from their screaming little mouths! Think a bit and try to see what she is trying to say. She is honest and sooooooo correct!

  13. Jim Sorrells Says:

Apparently, Ms. Coulter doesn’t realize that her use of words like “faggot” gives subtle encouragement to people like the young men in San Francisco who beat the Baker’s Dozen male chorus from Yale screaming “Faggot!” Would she also think it clever and funny to use “nigger,” “kike,” and “spic?” Would you who support her also find it funny?

  14. Jamie Says:

My normally-sane-and-conservative husband disagree on this one. He saw the “faggot” slur. I saw the “uphold freedom of speech, damn it!” argument.

I wonder if this issue is a little like those old pictures, where if you look at it one way it’s a beautiful woman and if you look at it a different way it’s an old hag . . .

  15. Linda Says:

Absolutely. The two things are unrelated. YOU might call her statement invective, but in fact it is quite on point. This was demonstrated by the ridiculous over-reaction it caused.

If you get subtle encouragement from her words, you are MISSING the point. We are free to use whatever words we choose here, including “nigger”, “kike” and “spic”. If there are negative consequences from simply using a WORD that someone else finds offensive, part of the blame is in the oversensitized, politically correct sanitization of our modern discourse, and part is in the overly impressionable mind of the offendee.

One day I said the word “fuc*” under my breath at a post office. From the reaction of some of the people in line behind me, you would think I had just murdered a little old lady or something! People need to be more careful about what upsets them, or they will die decades before their time from the stress! (Darwinism in action!)

  16. Linda Says:

To clarify, my response was to what Jim Sorrells wrote.

  17. Milty Says:

    Coulter threw Edderds a bone.

After all, this was the same weekend when Edderds lay low and shewed himself a coward who’ll play by the PC rules, by refusing to cross state lines and enter his slicky pony in the Race for the Race Card tournament in Selma. The Lefts answer to Nascar™.

But the Billeree and al-O-bama can stoop so low. How fair is that?

Coulter outed poor unnoticed, unmentioned, ignored Jonathon Livingston Edwards, not as anything but a feckless politico.

So, I guess its still ok for the Media to say “Mark Foley, you faggott “, so long as you don’t use that term, and you do it in a nice, caring way.

Because someone had to summon the courage to stand up to the self-segregated, those who remained silent, and censored and cross that bridge! And spawn a torrent of Newspaper Jargon™! And Politically Correct Righteous Indignation™!

And give poor Edderds at least a mention, when a white suthun lawyer must check his ethnicitay at the state line, and dare not show his fake, uh, face at a high profile media circle jerk, and campaign event.

Update:And it looks like Edwards can use all the help he can get. Today Edwards held a fund razer in Houston and 100 people showed up.
