What a Troop Thinks About the Resolution (VIDEO)

On H&C tonight, Geraldo was on reporting from Iraq, to talk about the progress since the security crackdown. After all the regular questions were asked and answered, Alan finally asked Geraldo if the troops had heard about the non-binding “let’s-lose-at-any-cost” resolution and, if so, what their thoughts were on it. Geraldo let one of the troops answer for himself.

Folks, this is nothing less than heartbreaking. I could almost feel the defeat in this soldier’s voice, and his face looked very pained to me. And I know it was not because of lack of success in Iraq; it was because of our politicians playing games with their very lives and the success that they could achieve, if our idiots in Washington would just leave them alone to let them do their jobs.

But then again, have any of you ever heard any of these “polls” ask the troops themselves about how they feel? I haven’t. If I have, I haven’t seen them. Like this soldier, I, too, am “irritated.”

As a mother of a soldier I would even go as far as saying its almost treasonous. they lie distort and twist the facts. The democrats without a doubt do not want us to win they hate Bush more then they fear the terrorist themselfs and are willing to sacrifice our soldiers and this nation because of that hate. I am so angry!!! that a simple ribbon on my car is not enough, not that ever really was, so for me who does not travel well and who has never flown will be taking my first flight to washington March 17 to help counter the anti war protesters this is something I have to do..I am sorry for the length but it felt good to vent. God Bless our troops!!!
  • Those comments are totally in sync with all the soldiers we know, particularly those of NCOs, who are the backbone of the military. They feel disgusted and disappointed (to say the least) at the shameless demagoguery of democratic politicians at their expense.

As an Army wife, I live and breathe this stuff every day. We all feel, with a few exceptions, that the democrats are being dispicable.
