Tonight on Hannity & Colmes, Brent Bozell of the Media Research Center and Rachel Sklar of HuffPo *cough* were on to discuss the validity of, or in my mind, the vulgarity of, the NYT’s embedded reporter not only capturing video SSgt. Leija being shot, but also of him dying after being hit by a bullet in the head during operations in Iraq. The NYTs named the video “Man Down’: When One Bullet Alters Everything.” Yeah, assholes… you are one bullet closer to keeping your freedom of speech at the expense of a great American.

Natch, HuffPo’s rep thinks this clip is newsworthy, but ever the voice of reason, Bozell (as well as Hannity) voice the real truth about what this is: an outrage.
…. or has she been this way all along, and I just missed it? Whoopi was on The View earlier this week, and she actually advocates a troop surge in Iraq, although she doesn’t agree with the war. Tonight with Bill O, she discussed O’Reilly’s recent interviews of the Hollyweirdos at the D.C. protest last weekend. By golly, Whoopi is actually tolerable to watch! No shrillness, no parsing, just speaking her mind.
Like Bill O says in the end, “hey, Tim Robbins… check her out.” Yes, you idiot leftards; look what you can accomplish with mature, adult dialogue. Something tells me that most of us on the right are glad that the majority on the left aren’t this calm. But the other part of me truly wishes the others on the left were this calm. If that were the case, we’d really have true debate during elections in the future. Hey, Whoopi didn’t have all the right answers, but she wasn’t screaming “BUSH LIED!, WAR FOR OIL!”

Man, oh, man, tonight Laura Ingraham had a one-two punch tonight for Bill O’Reilly. First up was the subject of the Veep’s daughter, Lynn Cheney, and her pregnancy. Then she sets off on all the cheesecake that has been on Fox lately (and I have to say, I somewhat agree with her on that).
At today’s National Prayer Breakfast, General Peter Pace and President Bush had a gentlemanly duel; a duel, that is over the coffee. Seems Laura wants another cup, gets obliged by Gen. Pace, and GW quite handily addresses the issue.
Ah, best buds after alll.
Nobody ever gives Bush credit for anything, much less his wonderful sense of humor. He may not be as eloquent as Reagan, but the man has a witty side. And, so does Gen. Pace.
