Cindy Sheehan in Sean’s “Hotseat” (VIDEO)

Tonight, Sean Hannity’s debut of his new show was awesome! “Hannity’s America” is going to be a new weekly Sunday night show, and he will apparently have several recurring segments; one of which will be the “Hannity Hotseat.” His inaugural guest for the Hotseat tonight was Cindy Sheehan, the Crawford Crazy. I gotta tell you, Sean showed more decorum with Cindy than you would ever see someone like Olbermann or Matthews give a conservative on their show. I was quite impressed, and the interview was good. Mother Sheehan actually apologized for calling President Bush a bastard, but she pretty much stuck by most of her other rhetoric.

Oh, I’m giving her some credit allright, but she’s still a loon, and she proved it once again tonight; only this time, she was more composed than I’ve ever seen her before. Quite frankly, I was surprised she came on to Sean’s show at all. There must have been some pre-conditions agreed to, I would think. However, her choice of apparel was very interesting. Notice the t-shirt which says, in Arabic, something like “We will not be silent.” Let me know if you can tell me what her t-shirt says.

You can watch the segment here.

Only Seven More Days….

… and it seems like this week will last FOREVER! Only 7 more days to go until Jack is back, and we’ll finally get to see some wicked righteousness come back into our lives with Season 6 of “24.” Yes, I know Jack Bauer is only a fictional character, but I can only hope and pray that will all the spinelessness that’s been shown recently (on both sides of the aisle), that there are some “Jack Bauers” in this world.

I will be blogging after each episode, and that will start this same time next week. Keep watching! I may sneak a video clip or two in. For the time being, watch the extended trailer on the Fox “24″ site here.

Who Are The Simpsons? (VIDEO)

I’ve loved this guy, Dan Castelanetta, for a long time. He’s been around forever, and I believe the Simpsons started as a commercial break diversion on the Tracy Ullman show. Here’s a great video of him in an interview on Late Nite with Conan O’Brian, doing all the Simpsons’ voices.

Everybody needs a little humor break once in a while, and I was certainly ready for one.

Suspicious Truck at Port of Miami (VIDEO)

***SCROLL FOR UPDATES***

Fox News is reporting about a suspicious semi tractor-trailer that entered the port of Miami today, and the Iraqi driver was not completely truthful with the authorities. That’s not a good thing. You see, if you’re trying to get a day pass into the port and you tell officers there’s no one in the truck with you, don’t be surprised if you’re detained when they find two other men in what sound like was the sleeper cab hiding from them. Oh, yeah… and especially don’t be surprised if those two men are Middle-Eastern, as well. One was from Lebanon, I believe.

DHS, FBI, the JTTF, Miami Police, and several other agencies are on scene. The bomb squad recently arrived and are expected to x-ray the cargo trailer very soon, if they haven’t already. Word also has it that there will be a joint press conference at approximately 3:30 p.m E.S.T. Check back for that video.

For now, check out the current video available from Fox right here.

Post Script: I wonder how long it will take for C.A.I.R. and/or the A.C.L.U. to get involved? Well, knowing these groups, they’ve probably already sent lawyers en masse to the Miami port. Asshats.

***UPDATE 5:27 P.M. E.S.T.***

Well, that was a long wait for nothing; or was it? They just had their press conference, and it seems all is well. Nothing but auto parts and spools of wire and electronics. I was going to post the video, but not much worth posting. Yes, the driver did say he was by himself while he wasn’t, but the cargo contents matched the manifest. Still I am uneasy about the entire thing. How many 20-year-old Iraqi truck drivers do you know? Especially who come out of the Dearborn, Michigan area? Why wouldn’t you know what you were hauling? And why would you be hauling spools of wire and electronic parts for automobiles? From Dearborn, Michigan? With two Middle-Eastern stow-aways? At a seaport in Miami, where tens of thousands of people are both boarding and disembarking cruise ships on one of the busiest port days of the week?

I think Jack Bauer might even be suspicious about this. Something tells me we haven’t heard the last of this.

Oh, well, on to other things.
