Everyday Heroes…
We think often of our men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. They are fighting the good fight over there to protect us over here, but how often to we think about the men and women here that stand between us and those who don’t mind hurting……

I ask the question again… Where do we get such heroes? Both the Deputy and the K-9 officer.
Little do we all remember that Police K-9 officers and soldiers (yes there are K-9 soldiers) are the most selfless Police Officers and Soldiers on the planet. Regardless of the danger, they do their duty without regard to personal safety. They are invaluable to the security of our nation.

I live about 20 mins from where these two Officers where shot. To me anytime a Firefighter or Law Enforcement officer is killed in the line of duty it ruins my mood for the day. This was close to home and I had interacted with this officer before. My prayers are with his family and our world suffers a loss heaven has become an even better place with its newest arrivals. God Bless my brothers and sisters out there working the street at this moment may God return you all safely home.
