What About A New Bush Assassination Movie? (VIDEO)

Let’s get Ann’s take on it, okay? The movie is the “Death of An American President.” The huge rub on this is that it’s being billed as a DOCUdrama! Hello? “Docu” indicates there’s some form of truth to the project.

Honestly it scares the crap out of me because of people like John Hinckley who aren’t carrying a full lunch box. Bush needs to get 2 to 3x his guards who are aware of the current situation right now. This is a film where President George W. Bush is “allegedly” assassinated in 2007, due to our policies in the war on terror. From the site:

President Bush ‘assassinated’ in new TV docudrama
31.08.06

Bush is shot by a sniper in a scene from Death of a President. Held up by a secret service bodyguard in his dying moments after being shot in the stomach, this is President Bush being assassinated. ( Kos’ wet dream.)

Surrounded by a crowd of panicking onlookers, the American leader is pictured just seconds after being gunned down by a sniper following an anti-war demonstration.

But rather than a repeat of JFK’s shooting or Ronald Reagan’s attempted assassination, this shocking image is part of a new Channel Four show.

The dramatic scene, which has caused outrage among Americans, has been created by a British film company for a programme about the effect of the War On Terror.

In ‘Death Of A President,’ which will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival later this month (SEPT) before being shown on Channel 4’s satellite channel More4 in October, the assassination is a starting point for a retrospective fictional documentary about what happened next.

Isn’t “fictional documentary” an oxymoron? Oh, yeah that’s right… “Farenhyte 9/11″ was also a “fictional documentary,” although every democrat swears it’s 100% true.

This is just pure evil.

“The assassination is a starting point for a retrospective fictional documentary about what happened next.”

Huh? Just exactly what do you think the response would be from the WORLD if this film were to feature Clinton (either), Carter, or any other democrat – just pick one – as the person being assassinated? And don’t even think of saying “oh, it wouldn’t matter,” because you know damn well it would. It would be condemned from Venezuela and Cuba, all the way to Syra and Iran.

I found this interesting comment in that section of the article on this story.

The British were angry about President Bush saying “Yo Blair” and how disrespectful it was.

How does this compare?

Yes, how, indeed???

  • Unfortunately, our "democratic media" in the U.S. is just that - 99% biased toward the leftist Democratic party. Conservative views are a rarity, so all don't get a fair shake here. All TV here is also funded by advertising dollars, except for National Public Radio, which is funded by the Government. Oh, and yes.. it is left-leaning, too.
  • Grace Loggins
More 4 is TV channel which is financed by advertising money but doesn`t suck up to anyone which must definitely confuse Americans. Tell me how the media works in your fabulous democracy? BTW fiction means not taking place in reality. Just so you know.
  • NotSaussure, Fox News doesn't broadcast mock executions of sitting world leaders either. There is no moral equivalency in your statement.
  • I think you misunderstand us Brits' reaction to the 'Yo Blair... conversation. We weren't bothered about anyone treating Blair disrespectfully -- we don't respect our elected politicians at all, and treat them a good deal worse than that.

What created the stir was that it seemed to confirm what we'd suspect all along about the relationship between the master his poodle.

As to the film, an independent British TV company makes a film, to show on an independent commercial channel, that some foreign audiences find offensive. What's the problem? A lot of people don't much like Fox News but we -- at least in Britain --don't complain about it being broadcast.
