The bloody, realistic statistics are mind-boggling! According to AP headlines, “…16,912 MURDERS; 92,837 RAPES.” Can you believe we’re allowing that to happen? If we leave now, we can stop this! We must get out!

So why don’t we pull out immediately, purge the intolerable number of victims? This is an abominable number and one we cannot tolerate. So why do we? It really escapes me, but this number either remains steady or grows every year.

Only problem is, these are crime statistics… from the good Ol’ U.S. of A - not Iraq.

Shocking? I think not. The looney left & MSM would have you believe we are the most blood-thirsty goons of the Western world, traveling the globe, raping, killing and pillaging the planet, and imposing our “democracy” on 3rd World Countries. However, considering the statistics above, should we pull out of the U.S. now because of a few horribly crime-ridden cities when the majority of the rest of the country is relatively safe?

That’s what the democrooks are proposing we do - completely abandon the 15 other provinces in Iraq that are prospering and becoming shining examples of Democracy in the Middle East. Should Iraq’s “Detroit” (Fallujah), ”Houston” (Anbar Province), or “D.C.” (Sadr City) make us give up on the rest of the country? I think not. But that’s what the leftist kooks want us to do. 

To all those defeatists out there, let’s just start packing our bags and leave this war-mongering, freedom-loathing country in which we live, and find someplace else to inhabit that is safer. Where is that Utopia we so dearly believe we deserve?

Who will find it first? Let me know if you’re successful. You should not ONLY be packing your bags, but also, packing mags for your personal-protection weapon of choice. And don’t forget a survival kit for your new “Nirvana.” You’re gonna need it. I’m staying put right here in the good ole’ U.S.A., with its warts and all…but you go on ahead, now.

Extreme? If you think so. Necessary? Absoluteyl! Should we kow-tow to the liberal ideology and pull out of Iraq now, you’d better remember “Survival of the fittest” as a mantra. Pacifist ideology? Go ahead and hole yourself up in the center closet of your house, pray GW has made good on his promise to protect this country, and if a democrat regains control of the White House, bend over and grab your ankles, get out the Vaseline, pray to Allah you’re spared, and hope your Prada scarf will slow the flow of blood that is certain to come after the back-and-forth sawing of your neck with a bowie knife by some Islamic goon wearing a black hood.

Either way, we’re all screwed unless we can come together and realize we are a nation and a society in peril. It’s up to every man, woman and child to uphold the very ideals that make us a free people.

Folks, only you can make this happen. How strong is your spine? Hopefully stronger than those of the freakish loons and the crazy lefties in the free-to-be you-and-me, hug-a-tree, peace-at-any-price crowd.

Maybe Perky Katy Couric can get the evening-anchor chair for “Al-Jazeera America” TV.

    Excellent post Ms. U. and so true. It seems a lot of us are feeling outraged today. I've read several posts along the same general lines.

    I really don't think there is a chance for the dems to get any power. I think they are pretty much done as a political party - unless they come up with something besides socialism as a vision. They've gotten so out of the mainstream they are almost laughable.

    But should they get into power, I do think we'd need to worry about keeping our heads on our shoulders. We'll all be wearing burkas.

    Excellent essay. Your point is well taken and there are more than a dozen US cities with a higher murder rate than Iraq. Strangely enough they are all run by Democrats and have been for many years. Guiliani cut murder by 70% in New York so at this time the murder rate in New York is far below Iraq, so perhaps we ought to take a clue from that.

    Never mind. Those who live in the land o' fearful fantasy will never admit that they're wrong, so they'll keep voting Democratic and wondering why so many have to die.

John Murtha calls our Marines blood-thirsty and assassinates their character before an investigation into the Haditha ' massacre' is completed. They are pathetic! They want our President's hide.     How long do these clowns in Congress think we are going to put up with this illegal immigration crap? Most of us didn't even know the extent of it until recently. This is an INVASION and if the Congress gives these lawbreakers amnesty and more rewards to break our laws, then I have just paid my last tax payment...because I don't happen to like THAT law. But seriously, there is going to be a riot in the street if the House passes the S-2611 bullshit bill. RIOTS! And we are coming for THEM first. Burn baby burn.

    Sooo True!!

    Would that we had the same rules for both sides of the birth canal. I think it's only a matter of time before the pendulum swings sufficiently for it to happen. But, alas, we must sit on our hands and wait for some brave generation to come along and put the starch back in all our spines. It will no doubt be another "violent" period in our history, much like the 60's and 70's. But, no doubt too, it will be a necessary "evil", a time of testing, a time of resolve, a time of principle, a time of... you get the idea, I'm sure. The middle aged idiots of my generation who thought John Lennon's "Imagine" said it all, for all time, will fortunately all be gone soon. The children they sired and nurtured will, no doubt, stop listening to all this "rap crap" and light upon a new "cause", and perhaps, just perhaps, they'll end up saving the world from the Boomers and the whackos they listened to those many years ago in college classrooms and on pop radio stations. Perhaps? Perhaps, too, all the Boomer-Let-It-Be's who weren't in ROTC (or weren't among those who preferred not to take sides in those days) will finally move to Canada, now that they can afford it; and the Canadian murder and rape rates will be allowed to skyrocket with their love of tinkering into age old rules and punishments. Perhaps?
