In honor of all of the American veterans who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom, FNS’s “Person of the Week” was appropriately Army Staff Sgt. Alfred Lanier, who is the Head Guard at the Tom of the Unknown Soldier.
If only the average American had this much dedication and resolve, they would not be screaming for an immediate pull-out of Iraq. Regardless of what some believe, this country IS worth both fighting and dying for.
To all the men and women who have served this country, in whatever capacity, I salute you. We owe you an eternal debt of gratitude. Not even hurricane Isabel could stop these men from keeping the vigil.
… so suggests the website Scoop.co.nz as an option for the “hip hop” generation, and about an upcoming event featuring none other than Georgia Congresswoman and Capitol Hill Police-abuser, Cynthia McKinney! People, take close note of the attendees of this event. None are of extreme significance, but all worthy of watching and knowledge that they are no friends of the United States.
McKinney who is most notably known for her public tussles with the Capitol Police, but she’s got a long history here in Georgia, just like her daddy does, of absolute political corruption. Don’t know anything about her past besides the Capitol Hill scuffle? Remember shortly after 9/11 when Rudy Giuliani was offered that mega $$$ from the Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, but on the condition that America accepted some responsibility for the attacks? Well, Rudy said basicaly “FFFFF you!”, but McKinney stepped up to the money plate shouting “GIMME GIMME FOR MY BLACK PEOPLE!” How TRULY embarassed I was to be from this state!
Somewhere in between there was the lunacy of her House Bill to request all documents surrounding Tupac Shakur’s murder to be made public. ???? What? As if this was a governmental conspiracy? What is it now? East Coast vs. West Wing? Whatever!
We’re still waiting on the outcome of her Grand Jury situation with the Capitol Hill police.
Now that brings me to the latest news. Cynthia wants to arm the hip hop community with “weapons of mass instruction.” Oh, please! Cynthia’s apparently hosting a “Hip Hop Power Shop” on June 10th at the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Can you believe such a place exists? What a shame.
Well, according to the Press Release, here’s the details of the event:

So, her optioins for the “hip hop” crowd include killing veterans? Excuse me?
And the workshops scheduled includes:

12:30 1:20 PM Panel 2: Countering Recruitment: Realities of War and Military Service

Oh, joy. Should I bring my own popcorn? My own “40″? Should I wear my new “grilz,” bring my own “bling,” or should I just flash the Benjamins? I wonder if it will draw as many fans as the Fair Tax Rally I attended last Wednesday? I won’t know, because I won’t go. Just not interested. I may not be interested, but I am troubled by the listed “options” above, one being “Go to War and Kill Veterans.” Hmmmm… that’s a scary thought. Sound familiar?
Oh, and I forgot… “peace out” and “word to yo mutha” (you can thank her for keeping you in poverty).
