Gen. Hayden Explains the NSA on Fox News Sunday

Chris Wallace had Gen. Hayden, Deputy Director of National Intelligence, on Fox News Sunday today. Chris did a good job of grilling Gen. Hayden on issues of the NSA wire-tapping, intelligence that is gathered, probable cause, and the legitimacy of the program.

Chris brings up a Washington Post article that recently questioned the validity and legality of intelligence gathering.

Chris: Is there a broad, wide-scale electronic net that you put out that means you intercept lots of phone calls or communications involving Americans, or is there not?

Gen. Hayden: Chris, I’m glad you asked and I’ve tried to point this out in the past. Let me try to make this very, very clear. About the last 3rd of the Post article is an excursion along the lines you’ve just described; that we somehow grab the content of the communications and then use the content of the communications to determine which of the communications we really want to listen to. That is NOT true.

“When NSA goes after the content of a communication under this authorization from the President, the NSA has already established its reasons for being interested in that specific communication. I’ve said in other places, this is not a drift-net over Lackawanna, or Freemont or Deerborn….sifting all…grabbing all communications then sifting them out. This is very specific, and very targeted, when it comes to the collection of the contents of the communications entering or leaving the United States .

Chris: I just want to ask this in a slightly different way. Do you have a specific reason to believe that there is an Al Qaeda connection to every communication leaving an American that you intercept?

Gen. Hayden: Under this program that’s the only justification we can use to target a specific communication; that a reasonable person, and in this case, an analyst , with all the facts available to him or her at the time, has cause to believe that one or both of these communications are Al Qaeda or Al Qaeda affiliates.

But of course, this will fall on deaf ears of the looney left in this country. But this was a good interview, and Chris didn’t pull any punches.

When Pigs Fly (VIDEO)

Today on Fox News Sunday during Panel Time, we had the whole gang present: Brit Hume, Mara Liason, Bill Kristol, and Juan Williams. Chris had asked the panel about their individual thoughts on the President’s State of the Union speech. The predictable responses were given, yet when it was Juan’s turn, he even stunned Chris.

Bill Kristol winding up, expressed he was thought the Republicans were not in the best position right now. The following exchange took place:

Bill: “…Republicans are in a lot of trouble.”

Juan: “Well a word in defense of President Bush…I thought that he….”

Chris: (turns around to the window) “I gotta look, are pigs flying…?”

Bill: “Now I really know why it was right not to like the State of the Union speech.”

Just when you think you have Juan pegged….’bingo’ you get a surprise.

WANTED - DEAD OR ALIVE

Much has been said about the Muslim outrage over cartoons of Mohammed, and I’d like to remind everybody why I’m offended; but not by the Mohammed cartoons. Many Americans, as Pres. Bush has stated, have a pre-9/11 mentality. We must have and KEEP a post-9/11 mentality. That said, I’m offended, and Americans were robbed.

The usual suspects include Usama Bin Laden, Abu Musab Al Zarqawi, Ayman Al Zawahiri, and any related associates thereof. These suspects are considered armed and EXTREMELY dangerous. If you encounter them, DO approach, and fire at will! They are wanted, dead or alive… but MOST preferably DEAD! The United States is DONE playing games!

Oh, the Muslims are Offended? (VIDEO)

Excuuuuse me! I’m completely underwhelmed! So some Danish newspaper published an editorial cartoon of the precious prophet Mohammed with a turban as a bomb (which I will gleefully reprint below), and it’s soooo offensive to Muslims that they’re denouncing Westerners, rioting and raging across Europe? Oh, yes, and they’re DEMANDING that the countries in which they live must ADAPT to their beliefs of the wonderful peace-loving religion of Islam?

Well, excuse the hell outta me, Ali Baba! You don’t get to call the shots when you’re in someone else’s country. Are our Christians who live in other countries around the word demanding that they accept and honor Jesus Christ without poking fun at him in editorial cartoons? Ummmm.. that would be a no. But then again, I don’t recall anyone as of late who has strapped a bomb on their chest, walked into a wedding in a hotel, and blew themselves and everyone else to bits in the name of Jesus either.

How DARE you loathsome, intolerable imbeciles decide to go live in other countries, establish citizenship or not, and DEMAND that that country be “sensitive” to your preferred deity? As John Stossel would say “GIMME A BREAK!”

Jonathan Hunt of Fox News was recently in Copenhagen, Denmark, where he met with a Muslim leader, who said that Western Countries SHOULD change THEIR rules to adapt to Muslim culture! Whaaa???? Jonathan proposed the question, should the people of another country adapt to the rules of a country in which they are living, or should that country adapt to their new citizens?

Muslim: “I demand them… within the concept of liberalism to create, to fashion a new set of rules…”JH: “…so you want a new set of rules for the way Western Europe lives?”

Muslim: “Yes, we want a new set of rules!”

You and your extremist brethren are slowly but gladly falling from favor from most of the modern, free world, but you are so blind you can’t even see it. Go ahead… burn flags, terrorize, boycott, demand, blah blah and blah. You are only doing your so-called “religion” a disservice with what is turning out to be a negative, idiotic PR campaign. You can’t stand a little cartoon about your beloved leader that will give you 72 virgins when you blow yourself up for him? You, like the looney left of America, are proving yourselves to be the worthless fools you are.

In fact, I’m offended that YOU are offended! I’m also very offended that Islamofascists killed 3,000+ of my people on 9/11. When are you going to aplogize for that? Oh, yeah, that’s right… .you think we are to blame. Maybe we can get Kanye West to dress up as Mohammed and pose for a picture for the cover of Rolling Stone, ya think?
