Is China Going to Buy All of Our Trees? (VIDEO)

You know, sometimes it’s tough to take one for the team… but, by golly somebody’s gotta do it. In doing so, however, I finally realized how MSNBC gets the handfull of viewers they DO have…. it’s the Conservative bloggers who watch and wait for the likes of the spit-flinging, whining, yapping Chris Matthews of “Slimeball.” We Conservatives probably comprise 95% of his viewership…cause it sure ain’t because of the good journalism, baby!

That being said, today Chris had former Bush Commerce Secretary, Don Evans, and they were talking about our “Oil Addiction” tied to the Middle East. That was all fine and well, and as usual, Chris was prattling along, not disappointing the liberal kook base at all!

Evans was talking about the growing need for oil by both China and India, and when the interview was over, Chris said (and I’m NOT kidding you here):

I too am worried, Mr. Secretary, that someday China is going to have the economic power to buy all the trees in North America, and all the oil in the world, and we’re going to be sitting there, begging for assistance.

Wha?????
