Tony Blair’s Son, Leo, Target of Foiled Kidnap Plot!

Drudge is JUST breaking a plot to kidnap British PM Tony Blair’s young son, Leo Blair! According to the article in the Sun:

SPECIAL Branch cops smashed a plot to kidnap little Leo Blair while monitoring a small band of fanatical dads, The Sun can reveal.

They stumbled across the startling plan as they investigated the activities of men on the lunatic fringe of the Fathers 4 Justice group.

Tony Blair and his wife Cherie were told about the threat to five-year-old Leo — the youngest of their four children.

A security source told The Sun: “They were naturally very concerned, as any parent would be. But they have been assured the police are on top of the situation.”

A security assessment of the Prime Minister’s family was carried out by Special Branch after the plot was uncovered.

It included analysis of the protection given to the Blairs’ other three children — Euan, 22 tomorrow, Nicholas, 20, and 17-year-old Kathryn.

The source said: “Appropriate steps have now been taken.”

The snatch plot chillingly demonstrates how extreme elements have attached themselves to Fathers 4 Justice.

It will horrify the group, which campaigns for dads from broken families to have better access to their kids, as it is bound to damage their cause.

And the conspirators may be from the breakaway camp which has threatened founder Matt O’Connor with DEATH because he is “not radical enough”.

Special Branch came across the plan to abduct Leo just before Christmas.

No details of how the fanatics intended to snatch the child have been disclosed.

But it is understood the men only wanted to hold Leo for a short period of time and were not intending to harm him.

The security source said: “Fortunately we think we have nipped this in the bud at an early stage. There have been no arrests although inquiries are continuing. It was good intelligence work.”

In the past Fathers 4 Justice dads have hurled purple powder at Mr Blair in the Commons.

They demonstrated dressed as superheroes and scaled St Paul’s Cathedral and the London Eye.

And in 2004 “Batman” protester Jason Hatch, 32, scampered on to a Buckingham Palace ledge.

But the kidnap plot marks a sinister new tactic that would never be condoned by mainstream members of the group.

The growing threat posed by extremists was highlighted in November by an ITV documentary called Dad’s Army.

It was based on a 12-month investigation of group members.

One man was secretly filmed boasting about beating up his ex-wife’s lover — and threatening to kill the woman unless she allowed him access to his kids.

He was also recorded bragging about plans to vandalise court buildings.

Alarmed by growing extremism, Special Branch began monitoring the group three years ago. And their efforts intensified as some dads pressed for more “direct action”.

Mr O’Connor, a 38-year-old dad of two, said in an interview late last year: “We exist to act as a positive force of change.

“But there are all manner of groups calling themselves Fathers 4 Justice who have nothing to do with us whatsoever.”

He added: “I understand fully the anger and bitterness that drives people to think of extremes. But this is not the way forward for our movement.”

Police refused to comment on the Leo plot.

I’d certainly hate to be the jackasses on the other end of this thankfully foiled plot! The one thing you DO not do is mess with the U.S.A., nor ANY of her friends and allies! There would be the proverbial hell to pay.

ACLU to Take On NSA (VIDEO)

On Chris Matthews’ Slimeball today, ACLU attorney Ann Beeson tries to make the case for her plaintiff, Larry Diamond. The ACLU is recently taking up the matter in courts against the NSA’s spying program.

Mr. Diamond says he believes he was spied on. He is a senior advisor of the Hoover Institute.

Chris asks him: “What evidence do you have that you were spied upon by the NSA?”

Diamond: “We don’t have hard evidence, Chris, because we don’t know, the NSA doesn’t disclose…”

Chris: “…well then why are you a plaintiff then if you don’t know what you’re talking about?”

Diamond… “…because as the suit makes clear, we have reasonable ground based on what’s been revealed to draw an inference that the type of communications that we’ve had are being intercepted by the NSA.”

Huh???????

Excuse me, Mr. Diamond, but isn’t the burden of proof your onus? You can’t just make broad-brush generalizations against the NSA without any proof! That’s like saying I’m going to sue the city where I live because they have cameras up on traffic signals to capture red-light runners, and I may OR MAY NOT have inadvertently run a red light one time or another, so maybe I was a victim of entrapment. ???!!?? Yeah, doesn’t square, does it?

Christie vs. Sharpton on Softball (VIDEO)

On Softball with Chris Matthews today, former Bush adviser, Ron Christie goes up against liberal freak, Al Sharpton regarding the Hildabeast’s recent remarks about the Congress being run like a “plantation, and you know what I’M talking about!” This fight goes on for two rounds, so both clips can be found below.

By the way, this is not the FIRST time the Hildabeast has said the House is run like “A Plantation.”

Here are a few excerpts:

Chris “Spittle” Matthews: “Do you think she would have used the word Plantation with a white group?”

Rev. “Sell-out” Al: “Yes she would have.”

CM: “Do you think she would have also said “you know what I’m talking about!”?

AS: “No, I don’t think she would have.”

Later, Brother Al said that “Hillary said what she said only in response to a question…” Whaaa???

Chris reminds Al about Kanye West’s rant, and Al says a lot of black people agreed with him.

Then Al just begins to ramble…. “Martin Luther King was against Martin Luther King-isms?” He also confirmed what Shrillary said: “It IS like a plantation!”

Christie reminded Al: “Blacks are taking their lead from what they hear on television, from people like the liberal media…”

Al responsds: ” What? You don’t think the Fox Channel works in our house?”

Then Al charges that Bush “takes Don King around the country recruiting Black people to the Republican party.”

Yeah, Al… why don’t you tell Don King that to his FACE! Dare ya!
