You don’t have to support the war of the reasons why we are there to support Gold Star Families or the soldiers who are sacrificing daily to allow us to express our freedoms.

After you go to a military funeral you will feel a little bit differently about this…trust me, I’ve been to two since 9/05. How could anyone look at the mother of a dead 19 year old Marine and say that her son died for a lie??? Could you look at his father and say that what his son believed in and died for is a sham? You can disagree with the president all you want. You can disagree with the war all you want. Don’t lay blame on the people who protect your right to do those things. I disagree with Cindy Sheehan…I believe that her son is probably rolling over in his grave…but the bottom line is that she has a right to be an idiot…but please be an idiot on your own time. The only things that Cindy Sheehan is accomplishing is upsetting people to no end, embarrassing herself, and telling the bad guys of the world (just like in Vietnam) that America’s resolve is wavering. Note to terrorists out there…OUR RESOLVE WILL NEVER WAVER…you may beat us temporarily, but you will never beat us down.

First before I can respond to you, I’d have to know what you think were the “lies.” Also, I do support the war, because if we aren’t fighting in on enemy soil, we would be fighting them on our soil. That’s something that is not in question. The enemy has been attacking us both on our soil and abroad for decades. Please let me know which “lies” you’re alluding to, and I’ll respond appropriately.

Most af America honors the sacriface that the men and women are doing in Iraq, me included. What I don’t uhderstand is why you still support our president even though he lied about the reasons for going to war. It seems as if you support the war no matter what the reasons for entering it were.
